The Village Chairs by Carlo Malerba represent an emotional synthesis of basic factors arising from the analysis and reinterpretation of buildings universally shared and recognizable, to create a series that represents a utopian village.
AN ENDLESS VILLAGE
The desired or random combinations that are created between the various chairs, establish complex visual relationships, different and never boring.
THE SPEAKING TABLE
The four legs represent the bell towers of San Marco, San Giorgio Maggiore,
San Giorgio dei Greci and bell tower of Torcello.
The bell towers "listen and speak to the chairs", from their height, embracing the utopian village around them.
